Nordes at the Grand Opening of Teltonika’s New PCB Factory in Vilnius (TLT Manufacturing)
On 16th October 2025, Nordes representatives Łukasz Porębski (Purchasing Manager) and Radosław Mielnik (Product Manager) had the privilege of participating in the official opening of the new Teltonika PCB factory in Vilnius, Lithuania. This event brought together leading European technology companies, partners and industry experts who are united by a common vision of strengthening Europe’s independence in electronics manufacturing.
A new chapter for European PCB production
The newly inaugurated Teltonika PCB factory is one of the most significant investments in the European electronics sector in recent decades. Spanning over 33,000 m² and boasting a budget of €143 million, the facility integrates production, R&D and administrative spaces under one roof. It is the first new PCB factory to be built in Europe in over 20 years, marking a breakthrough moment for the industry.
The plant’s technological focus is on high-density interconnect (HDI), sequential build-up (SBU) and flex-rigid PCB production, as well as high-frequency board design. Teltonika will also be the first company in Europe to use digital solder mask printing and vertical continuous plating (VCP), solutions that will significantly improve production efficiency and quality.
The factory is also a strong example of sustainable manufacturing – implementing advanced systems for water purification and reuse, minimizing environmental impact and promoting circular economy principles.

A strategic move towards European technological sovereignty
During the ceremony, representatives from Nordes met with Vytautas Ilgunas (Chief Commercial Officer at TLT Manufacturing) and Tomas Auruškevičius (CEO at TLT Manufacturing) to discuss potential future collaborations and shared objectives regarding the development of a robust European supply chain.
The new factory forms part of the High-Tech Hill complex in Vilnius, where ten major investment projects with a combined value exceeding €3.7 billion are underway. Once operational, the plant will employ around 250 highly qualified specialists, playing a key role in shortening Teltonika’s production cycles, as well as strengthening control over quality and IP protection.
- “For Nordes, being part of this event was not only an honor but also a strong signal that Europe is entering a new phase of industrial transformation. The development of advanced PCB manufacturing in Europe supports our shared mission — to build reliable, high-quality electronics with full control over technology and logistics. We see Teltonika’s investment as a symbol of change, encouraging all of us to continue developing local capabilities and long-term supplier partnerships” – says Łukasz Porębski, Purchasing Manager at Nordes EMS.

A shared vision for the future
At Nordes, we believe that the future of European electronics lies in collaboration, innovation and sustainability. Initiatives such as Teltonika’s PCB factory are bringing us closer to achieving technological sovereignty by ensuring that critical components can be developed and manufactured safely in Europe. This supports not only industrial growth, but also strategic independence.
