In August/September 2024, the company successfully passed a certification audit and was awarded two prestigious certificates: ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management). The certificates were issued by one of the largest certification organizations in the world – DNV.
New quality in Nordes EMS
“The successful implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliant management systems means more to us than just meeting legal requirements,” says Sylwia Piątkowska, QMS Supervisor and Administration Manager at Nordes EMS. It is about consciously building a quality culture that encompasses the entire organization – from strategy to production and to customer relations.
With the new standards, the company has introduced management processes that minimize negative environmental impacts and optimize resource consumption. The company has also implemented standards to ensure even safer working conditions for its employees. The main objective of the certification was to improve the quality of services and increase the transparency of management processes.
Ecology and safety are not a fad – they are today’s standard
Today’s marketplace demands more from companies than just a good product. Customers and business partners are looking at a company’s social responsibility – its impact on the environment and its concern for its employees. Nordes EMS has consistently developed a CSR policy, supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals and is involved in social initiatives.
